A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Our game plot is centered around a tomb full of rooms and mysteries to explore. It’s set in Roman Lusitania, modern day Portugal or Spain during the 2nd century BC. This tomb belongs to a legendary general called Viriatus who used to be the leader of that territory before the Roman Conquest.

Years of bad harvests, fires, earthquakes, and other kinds of disasters in the roman settlements throughout Hispania, were followed by moments of civil unrest by the population. One day a group of local priests, believed to be druids, came to talk with the governor, telling him that a curse was upon them and the only way to break it was by avenging the death of Viriatus, otherwise the curse would continue until everything fell into ruins.

The governor was very superstitious and breaking this curse was his main interest at that time. He decided to point one of the most experienced and intelligent soldiers that the army ever knew which is also the character that I’m designing.

Gaius Tullius Maximus is a distinguished general of the Roman Army known for his cleverness. He is in his final years serving in the army being a veteran of the conquest of Hispania and the Third Punic War, he is in his forties and almost retiring from duty. At this point he lived in a comfortable Villa far from the chaos of the curse.

He was assigned to this mission to find more about the Lusitanian General and who betrayed him. Most people were afraid to travel there as there were rumors that the place was full of traps and some people even reported cries of spirits coming from there. While on duty he is equipped with a gladius, a hand knife and a full set of armor including a helmet.
